This space is for curiosity.
Whether you’re just beginning to notice mushrooms on a walk in the woods, interested in growing your own food at home, or wanting to understand how people have worked with fungi and plants for generations, you’re in the right place.
Learning from the land doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating. It starts with paying attention.

How I Approach Learning & Teaching
I don’t believe in gatekeeping knowledge.
Most of what I share comes from years of working with the land, learning through trial and error, listening to family stories, and studying both modern research and old-world traditions. I aim to explain things clearly, honestly, and without unnecessary jargon.
You don’t need a lab, a perfect setup, or a background in biology to learn about mushrooms—just patience and curiosity.
Learning Together, Over Time
This page will continue to grow as Earthly Harvest grows. Over time, you may find:
- Written guides and educational posts
- Reflections on seasonal growing and land stewardship
- Updates on future workshops or local learning opportunities
- Resources connected to my book on growing mushrooms at home
- Personal writings and reflections—sometimes about mushrooms, sometimes about ideas, stories, life, or whatever happens to be on my mind
Everything shared here is offered in the spirit of learning together, one step at a time.
A Simple Invitation
Learning from nature is not about mastery—it’s about relationship.
If something here sparks your interest, I invite you to follow along, explore at your own pace, and take what resonates with you. The land has been teaching for a long time. We’re just learning how to listen.
